Ensuring the school’s safety, the Liceo de Cagayan University - Rodolfo Neri Pelaez Campus conducted a fire drill on April 4, 2024. The drill began with the fire alarm as a signal for evacuation. The said drill was participated in by the occupants of the campus from various departments, namely the Grade School, Junior High School, Senior High School, and School of Teacher Education (STE). The drill was then followed by a simulation on how to put out the fire using an extinguisher. The activity culminated with a post-evaluation conference at the STE Conference Room headed by Engr. Arvin C. Abad, the Safety and Security/Data Privacy Officer. Undertakings like this not only provide practical training on how to respond effectively during a fire emergency but also raises awareness about fire safety and prevention measures among the school community.
