In line with the directive of the University President to enhance cleanliness and orderliness in offices and workstations, the Human Resources Office conducted a seminar entitled “5S Skills in the Workplace” for the academic and non-academic administrators on October 2, 2024, at the East Academic Cluster (EAC) building.

Ms. Edda Lydia M. Valdehuesa, an experienced industrial safety practitioner and the founding president of the Occupational Safety and Health Network of Region X, served as the resource speaker of the activity. “Remove the unnecessary; keep those that are important”, she mentioned. In her talk, she also stressed the importance of the managers’ and supervisors’ role in monitoring their staff by being the role models for this action.
