Graduate Programs

Three to five years after graduation, graduates of the Master of Science in Information Technology program shall have:

• Engaged in professional development or post-graduate education to pursue flexible career paths adapting to future technological changes in information technology and related fields;
• Demonstrated professionalism and a sense of societal and ethical responsibility in information technology practice, development, and in all their endeavors;
• Articulated their expertise in making technical contributions to design, develop, and solve problems in their practice of information technology which meet the desired needs of society; and
• Become globally competitive through living by the Licean mission values, engaging in lifelong learning, and practicing continuous quality improvement in their personal lives.

Upon completion of the program, the MSIT graduate shall possess the following:

• Develop solutions to complex Information Technology problems with full independence and/or in teams from multidisciplinary fields.
• Possess knowledge of principles and concepts in information technology involving business processes, analysis of business performance, advanced operating and database systems, advanced systems analysis, design and implementation, IT project management and quality assessment, applications development, information systems security, data analytics, and machine learning.
• Demonstrate proficiency in conducting research in the field of Information Technology.
• Apply ethical and professional principles in the practice of Information Technology.
• Demonstrate effective management skills in an Information Technology project in a specialized or multidisciplinary field.
• Demonstrate the ability to continuously improve skills and knowledge toward professional development.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Information Technology program can pursue diverse career opportunities in various sectors.

After finishing the Master of Management major in Information Technology Management program, graduates shall demonstrate:

• Leadership in IT Management: The ability to lead and manage IT departments or projects, leveraging an understanding of both management principles and IT practices.
