Master of Arts in Education Major in Sports & Physical Education

Upon completion of the program, the MAEd Graduates shall possess the following:

  • Positive work ethics in teaching and learning, managing time and projects reliably, effectively, professionally.
  • Initiative to advance skill levels as a professional educator, monitoring, defining, prioritizing and completing tasks without direct oversight.
  • Commitment to learning as a lifelong process, going beyond basic mastery of skills and/or curriculum to explore and expand one’s own learning and opportunities to gain expertise and updated on the scholarship of teaching and learning.
  • Open-mindedness to different ideas and values on instructional systems, leveraging social and cultural differences to create new ideas and increase both innovation and quality of work.

Master of Arts in Education Major in Special Education

Upon completion of the program, the MAEd Graduates shall possess the following:

Doctor of Education Major in Leadership & Management

Upon completion of the program, the Doctor of Education Graduates shall possess the following:

  • Responsiveness to the varying needs of communities and organizations and recognize the strengths of working with diverse populations.
  • Practical leadership skills to build effective team-oriented approaches through collaboration and consensus building.
  • Desirable leadership behaviors such as: effective strategic thinking, problem solving, reflection and community building.
  • Skills for curriculum designing, critiquing, and implementing relevant research to effective practice, advance social justice, and enact effective change.
  • Positive attitude to changing community, organizational and group environments and problems.
  • Appropriate unique solutions and develop adaptive learning organizations.
  • Competence in oral and written communication competency.

Doctor of Education Major in Early Childhood Education

Upon completion of the program, the Doctor of Education Graduates shall possess the following:
