Liceo de Cagayan University

The department is committed to community service. Family tree growing is an annual celebration of family unity that fosters appreciation for the environment and educates youngsters about the value of trees.

The department upholds the value of Excellence not only for students enrolled in Liceo de Cagayan University but also for children of our adopted school in Taguanao. The Grade School faculty extended its service to Taguanao Elementary School by launching its reading literacy program. The students, alongside the teachers, brought school supplies and hygiene kits to help the children in their studies.

Pilot testing identifies the needs of a specific barangay near our community. Spearheaded by the Liceo Extension Community Program, the activity allows the University and other stakeholders to assist the barangay in its needs.

This activity is an annual collaborative effort of the faculty members and the student council to help unfortunate children in Barangay Consolacion. Selected children are given school supplies and gifts. Also, they are brought to the University for a campus tour.

The Liceo HELPS program is annually launched by the University to help unfortunate families by giving them hygiene kits and school supplies. A team chooses families in need as beneficiaries of the program.
