PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

 

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSOT)

Five years after graduation, the alumnus/alumna of the BSOT program shall:

  1. Be a practicing licensed occupational therapist in the clinical, educational, research, and community settings.
  2. Achieve educational and professional advancement in the occupational therapy practice.
  3. Contribute to the advancement of the occupational therapy profession through commitment to lifelong learning, effective communication, leadership, management, research, inter-professional collaboration, entrepreneurship, and innovations.
  4. Manifest social and professional responsibility and ethical behaviors in the practice of the occupational therapy profession.

Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT)

Graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy Program shall be: 

    1. A physical therapist who actively addresses solutions to the current rehabilitative health needs through teaching, research, innovations, and health advocacy.
    2. A physical therapist who is true to the Licean and Filipino culture and values and an advocate of preserving the environment.
    3. A physical therapist who practices the profession within ethical, moral, and legal boundaries with high degree of professionalism.
    4. A physical therapist who is imbued with the passion for life-long learning.
    5. A physical therapist who exhibits expertise in the practice of the profession responding to the local, national, and global rehabilitative health needs.
    6. A physical therapist who demonstrates leadership and management in the practice of the profession and is sensitive to local, national, and global health issues.
    7. A physical therapist who demonstrates effective collaboration and communication skills in the practice of the profession.
