ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS PARTICIPATE IN BUSINESS WRITING WORKSHOP

On February 17, 2024, the Human Resources Office conducted a seminar-workshop on business writing skills among administrative assistants, with Mr. Hezron A. Daba, the University Training Officer, as the resource speaker.

The training was divided into two sessions, each with varying sub-topics about business correspondence. These include (1) Fundamentals of Business Communication, (2) Writing the Business Letter, (3) Writing the Office Memorandum, and (4) Writing a Business E-Mail.

The resource speaker assigned the participants short writing prompts after a sub-topic is discussed. With the resource speaker’s facilitation, the participants were also given the opportunity to assess their outputs and critique their partner’s works.
