LICEO U, SEC-REGION X SIGN AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL EDUCATION CAMPAIGN
On January 31, 2024, at the University Boardroom, Liceo Liceo de Cagayan University entered into a memorandum of agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission – Region X that makes the University a partner institution of the Commission for its campaign to promote financial literacy and investor education among academic constituents to combat investment scams. The agreement allows for the holding of seminars and trainings on fundamental topics aligned with the Commission’s financial education campaign.
University President Dr. Alain Marc P. Golez and SEC-Region X Director Atty. Frederick A. Enopia sealed the agreement during a MOA signing ceremony witnessed by the University’s top officials and SEC-Region X representatives – Mr. Neil Maynard C. Conde (Information Officer) and Mr. Jesher M. Radaza (Supervising Administrative Officer).
The University’s Office of Extension and Service-Learning headed by Mr. Salm Kairo C. Dumanlag facilitated the event.
