LICEO U SHS SWEEPS AWARDS AT DSPC 2024, RANKS 2ND TOP PERFORMING SCHOOL IN CDO
On November 22, the Liceo de Cagayan University Senior High School and its official student publication, The Titans, bagged multiple awards at the 2024 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at West City Central School (WCCS). Their outstanding performance earned them the 2nd Top Performing School award at the secondary level.
A total of 58 student journalists and seven coaches participated in the annual competition, each vying for the top spots to qualify for the regionals.
Furthermore, the delegation’s English TV Scriptwriting and Broadcasting, Collaborative Desktop Publishing, and Editorial Writing contestants, coached by Nap S. Caruz, School Paper Adviser of The Titans Student Publication, qualified to represent Cagayan de Oro City at the RSPC next year.
These achievements reflect Liceo U's unwavering commitment to excellence in campus journalism. They showcase the institution’s dedication to fostering young writers’ potential, honing their storytelling skills, and shaping them into critical thinkers and responsible communicators.
