MISS RADTECH IS MISS LICEO PLATINUM, NAILS BACK-TO-BACK WIN

A Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology student was crowned Miss Liceo Platinum during the Grand Coronation Night held at the Liceo Civic Center (LCC) on February 19.

Isobel May Cullen, an 18-year-old first-year student, bested 13 other candidates, succeeding Miss Liceo Tanzanite and College of Radtech alumna France Mirah Quines, securing a back-to-back win for the program.

Furthermore, the first-year beauty charmed the judges and audience alike, sweeping triple minor awards, Best in Swimwear, Best in Casual Wear, and Miss AGN Beauty Care Choice Award.

In the question and answer portion, Cullen articulated the essence of legacy, emphasizing that true impact is not measured by years but by the lives changed through service.

“I truly believe that as we celebrate the 70th Platinum Jubilee, we must remember that these core values are carried by our legacy. To build a lasting legacy, we must work for it, as legacies are meant to be felt, not just remembered. If we work together, we will look back and feel the impact of our efforts because legacies are not determined by the years we count, but by the lives, we change as we serve—not just the country, but the world,” she answered.

Moreover, the 18-year-old titleholder's victory comes with more than just prestige, as she also received cash prizes, gift certificates, a four-year full university scholarship, and a trip for two to Hong Kong.

Following Cullen, Marey Prinsyl Navales from the College of Nursing was named 1st Runner-Up, followed by Angel Junalyn Colima from the School of Business, Accountancy, and Management as 2nd Runner-Up. Azzizza Ulphana Alcular from the College of Medicine secured 3rd Runner-Up, while Aziah Kate Bingil from the College of Arts and Sciences claimed 4th Runner-Up.

Miss Liceo Platinum is a quinquennial beauty pageant held in celebration of Liceo de Cagayan University's 70th Founding Anniversary, continuing the tradition established by Miss Liceo Tanzanite during the 65th-year celebration.
