LICEO U’S COLLEGE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY JOINS CHED X 2.0
The College of Information Technology (CIT) of Liceo de Cagayan University participated in the CHED X 2.0 event on December 4-5, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang Premier, Davao City.
CHED X 2.0 aimed to strengthen collaboration between educational institutions and the industry by showcasing innovative academic contributions that address real-world demands. With the theme “Building Synergy: Aligning IT Education with Industry,” the event provided a platform for aligning higher education programs with the evolving needs of the information technology sector.
Representing the college were Dean Dr. Aurora Cindy Agno-Balabat, Chairperson Mr. Jun Brian Tubongbanua, and Research Coordinator Dr. Marco Marvin Rado. They presented research outputs from past IT graduates, which showcased the practical application of IT education and its relevance to industry challenges.
Liceo U's participation in CHED X 2.0 highlights its commitment to innovation, bridging the gap between academic training and industry requirements, and contributing to the advancement of IT education in the region.
