LICEAN FACULTY HONORED WITH PRESTIGIOUS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Dr. Linda D. Mondoñedo, a distinguished librarian and educator from Liceo de Cagayan University, received the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award for Mindanao from the Philippine Association of Academic Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) during its 52nd General Assembly and Awarding Ceremony on January 31, 2025, at the National Teachers College in Manila.
Formerly the Director of Libraries and the Instructional Media Center, Dr. Mondoñedo now serves as Program Coordinator of the Bachelor of Science in Library and Information Science under the College of Information Technology. Her dedication to library development and information literacy earned her this recognition.
PAARL President Dr. Maria Gia G. Gamolo praised her contributions to Philippine academic librarianship, emphasizing her lasting impact on the profession.
