LICEO U KICKS OFF GRAND 70TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Liceo de Cagayan University inaugurated its 70th Founding Anniversary - Platinum Jubilee Celebration with a grand opening ceremony at the Liceo Civic Center on February 19, 2025.
University President Dr. Alain Marc P. Golez formally opened the celebration, highlighting the institution’s commitment to its core values.
“It is my honor to declare the official opening of the university’s 70th founding anniversary celebration, marking seven decades of academic excellence, innovation, and community service,” he remarked.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the presentation of the Miss Liceo Platinum candidates, showcasing the university’s most outstanding representatives from different departments and colleges. Moreover, the Basic Education Department performed an array of Field Demonstrations, featuring cultural performances of dances around the world.
The week-long celebration is expected to feature more activities that will honor the university’s 70-year legacy of excellence.
For seven decades, Liceo de Cagayan University has remained steadfast in its mission to provide quality education, foster innovation, and build a community dedicated to service.
